Favorite section of Signal: My favorite section is whatever section my stories are in that month.
Reasoning for joining: I originally was going to sign up for Intro. to Foods when I was a little baby freshman because I’m a terrible cook but Ms. Linde suggested that I sign up for Yearbook instead and then the Yearbook and the Signal combined.
Other information: My favorite color is perrywinkle. My favorite word is “sniffles”. I love bacon. I’m the president of the “Megan Kemmett Appreciation Club”. Jess Cravens is my cousin. I have no appendix. I’ve won the Megan Kemmett Award (biggest eater award) two years in a row. Penguins are my favorite flightless bird. Owls are my favorite flightful bird. My favorite weekday is Wednesday. My lucky number is 24. I drink lots of coffee. I love fortune cookies. I love to color. I only write in pen. I eat a bagel every day. I’m an expert when it comes to making bird noises. I always win staring contests… always.

Reason for joining: I love to write. And Ms. Linde is my siblings and my favorite teacher!!!!! 
Other information: I LOVE giraffes and lunch boxes annnnd milk duds! I hate bunnies. My Favortite color is purple and my second favorite is orange. I love grape flavored tootsie pops and i may or may not be allergic to raisins. I love cats and reading and FYI all books are better than movies, minus The Notebook thats a better movie.

Favorite section of Signal: I love all sections of the newspaper but my favorites are entertainment and opinion because i like to state my opinion & being entertained.
Reason for joining: I became a part of it when yearbook and Signal joined.
Other information: My fave color is baby blue. I <3 the chicago bears; allll the way. Salt & vinegar chips are amazing Tootsie Pop Tuesday is the best day of the week. Megan Kemmett may or may not be my cousin (vinnie vinegar & stu honey)!! Purple is also a fantastic color. Green & gold clash. Saucy, sassy & skeevy = greatest words in the English language.

Favorite section of Signal: Feature because I like to interview people and get to know their real stories and afterward, I like to write it so others can share my experiences.
Reason for joining: Initially it was because I didn’t want to be committed to band; but quickly it turned into a passion for journalism and although it added stress, I loved it. It felt like a great place where I belonged instead of a regular class. I like knowing I have the power to inspire things in others.
Other information: I’m sneaky! I have the attention span and mindset of a five-year-old. I really like sparkley things. I swim and enjoy it.
Alexiyah Kohler – Opinion and Web Editor
Favorite section of Signal: Opinion.. I really like being able to get my opinion out there espesically when it’s a very controversial subject. I love using my prodigious word choice.. and with opinion I don’t have to worry about editorializing.
Reason for joining: I love writing and getting to be the one to brodcast information to the rest of the school. I love the pride that comes along with seeing my name printed right along with my story. I’m glad I decided to join.
Other information: My favorite color is purple and I LOVE purple fruit snacks. Zonkies are the best animal in the world (they do exist)! I play volleyball.. love it. I have four little brothers.. yes, four. I probably have the most obscure laugh you’ll ever hear. I’m really blonde but I’ll be the first to tell you that blondes CAN be smart- sometimes. I really like the band VersaEmerge and I’ve been to Mexico five times so far. My family means the world to me, my friends are loved as well.
